Little Wonders Cafe Branding

Project Overview

In Sri Petaling, there is a restaurant where the authentic Taiwanese food and its wonderful appearance will make you feel as though you have been transported to Taiwan! Little Wonders is a newly opened charming eatery serving authentic Taiwanese cuisine that will not disappoint, as its co-founder is Taiwanese herself.

Little Wonders wanted their branding to be not only visually appealing in order to meet today’s frequently sought-after branding criteria, but also to obtain a new positioning of their brand that would now target younger audiences and pet lovers as they are one of the quite rare dining establishments that permits human best friends to tag along. We created Little Wonders’ brand identity with Taiwan’s representative animal; the Formosan Black Bear being on the logo of their brand to serve as the ‘soul’. We continued with having the overall visual identity to lean towards minimal with the primary colours being white and beige. The rationale behind this is to complement the interior decor of the restaurant for the best possible aesthetic result.

Now to match up with the brand’s adorable logo, we added illustrations into various parts of the brand’s identity to counteract the emptiness minimalism brings. You may have also noticed that relevant Chinese characters are used throughout to further emphasise the restaurant’s Taiwanese origins. Regarding brand collaterals, we created soft launch and grand opening banner designs to proudly announce their arrival directly from Taiwan, as well as business cards to spread their name widely, menu designs to introduce their authentically hearty meals, and social media launching posts to entice people to look no further than them if you want to experience the taste and ambiance of Taiwan the way the locals do!
