A closer look at the festive box sleeve packaging reveals that it is primarily beige in colour to aesthetically contrast with the various shades of red that symbolizes auspiciousness to its fullest and to make to provide easy readability of ‘錢兔似錦’ with the meaning of ‘bright future.’ But, did you know? The original phrase of the wish is supposed to be ‘前途似錦,’ but a fun twist with the same pronunciation happened where the last two characters is written to ‘錢兔’ for the meaning of ‘money rabbit.’ This is so because 2023 is the Year of the Rabbit and desiring money is unquestionably the greatest wish of all Chinese people.

The same design was used to create a custom-sized sticker that was thoughtfully altered, with the Chinese elements being carefully rearranged to form a frame for the most important elements—the rabbit and the wish—to be at the center of attention.

Into the bargain, a mandarin-looking tag is made with the purpose of being tied to a box, serving as extra-cute décor with ‘大展鴻兔’, the wish of ‘great blessings to all your big plans’ with another amusing rabbit word twist of the original phrase — ‘大展鴻圖.’
